We will be in touch
Currently in the early stages of building up another 26er SS.
I am currently running my 29er with 32/18 for places like Cannock etc and 32/16 for commuting and local rides.
So would a 32/14 on the 26er be similar as a 32/16 on the 29er?
Also any pics of your SS for inspiration
59.4 gear inches for the 26er Vs the 29er @ 54 gear inch

it's pretty damn close -I think you'll bearly notice the diff.
Aye, it seems to be the basic rule that 32:16 on 26" wheels will feel pretty much the same as 32:18 on 29" wheels.
if you can pedal 32:14 up steep hills on a 26 er then respect to you.32 :16 is about 50" iirc
hey bernard what 29er you running?
I'm running 32:16 on my 29er currently but probably going to 32:17 shortly.
[tangent] Bernaard, bike on holiday picture at Bedruthan Steps? Mmmmmm, Noooorrrrth Cooooorrrrrnwallll.... [/tangent]
32/16 on my 69er Kona Unit, seems to work on most things I've ridden, fully rigid twas great fun at CwnCarn

Actually, its Watergate Bay.
Gonna go for the 32/14 as the bike is for local North Warwickshire stuff, which doesn't really have steep stuff and for commuting.
Very nice Love/hate BTW
