North downs looks like it's going to be a good day weather wise.
slugwash thats a big gear you are push there do not think my legs could do that these days
thats a big gear you are pushing there
It looks that way but it's actually 42/26. I've also got a spare smaller cog (20 I think) on the hub that I use for trips to flatter places like London. I can swap them over easily without bnggering up the chainline too badly, I just have to adjust the chain tensioner.
Done Lewes chalk pits, done Seaford head, Friston Forest, Firle Beacon etc !.
Keep em coming fellas, its giving me the motivation to get out tomorrow !

Here's one taken today from one of the same places as I put up before
It's not as bad/muddy as I thought it was going to be, maybe one 50m stretch was really muddy, grounds just soft so bit power sapping, but still got a strong westerly wind up there - don't need your brakes going downhill just stop peddleing and the wind will stop you ๐
Just get out you'll enjoy it! ๐
Just ride it, it's winter and it is going to be muddy! I'll be there tomorrow too. ๐
