Evening people of STW,
Had an XT clutch mech for 13 months now and the clutch has stopped working. I've taken the cover off to have a mooch and can see that part of the mechanism has snapped.
I bought it from chain reaction last June. Do I approach them for a warranty claim or go direct to shimano?
If shimano, can anyone point me in the right direction to get the ball rolling.

I'd imagine it would fall under their 2 year warranty? Why wouldn't it?

2yr warranty, return to CRC.

Had exactly the same issue with a Zee mech a few weeks back. I emailed CRC a photo and they sent me out a new one FOC saying they didn't even want the old one back!
