I'm running a granny and middle with a bash ring. I have a front mech for a triple on and can't get it lined up when it's on the middle ring and bottom end of the cassette. If I manually push it part way to shifting into big ring position it's fine but I can't get it to index into that position. Any pointers?

BB width? When you say bottom of cassette, so you mean the smaller or larger sprockets?

Just do a complete set up from scratch including the limit screws and you will be fine

I'm in a similar situation to the OP.

I set my front mech so that I have the full range of sprockets available at the back in the middle ring, and about halfway down the cassette when I'm in the granny.

Changing my middle ring to a 36 tooth (running 22t/36t/bash) means that I've got a decent spread of gears available.
