As per title I am buying a bike from a shop a distance away and the voucher says do not sign till you have the bike. the shop requires the signed voucher before it can release the bike. Anyone done this before? BTW the shop is a larger retailer who do a lot of business.

The rules of the scheme also say that the retailer should check your photo ID before releasing the bike. How this can happen "at a distance" still escapes me. 😀

I signed mine and sent it off no probs. In fact the shop even posted the bike to me before they'd received it!
Not bad for a shop 250 miles away that I've never been in.
Pics of new bike as soon as I've fettled it to my liking. But its rather foxy. 🙂

Think they should be they are one of the bigger online shops so i wouldn't expect any probs. Í will probably send it registered at the least.
