at home. what do people do?
got some bikes in the garage and a roller shutter door. dont lock the bikes to each other or anything. the FSussers are insured. live in a terraced house. never leave the bikes in the car or anything.

do people chain the bikes to an anchor or anything? recommendations? cctv even?
if i want to insure everything its a 600 quid touch.

Good home and contents insurance.
Do whatever they require to cover you

up n over door, so just park the car/van right up against it. PIR in the garage for times something isn't there in the hope neighbours might respond (or I might drag myself out of bed to look).

Ground anchor and big chain, nothing flashy or that screams "valuable stuff here" on the outside. And then home insurance.

£600 sounds expensive... although might depend on your postcode.
Try the AA plus insurance cover as id have thought under £300 should insure £5k worth of bikes, building and contents with breakdown cover thrown in....

Id be tempted to go a decent ground anchor, 16mm+ chain and a closed shackle padlock.
