Morning all

I've got an old Diamondback frame which after languishing in the garage for years and years I'm going to get it cleaned up, powder coated, new bits etc for my lad.

Problem is the seatpost its not standard, anybody know of any other sizes, its smaller than 27.2mm.

On a side note, the bonus is the new bits are actually old bits off my bike and I get a new groupset.

Been looking around and these look like a good deal

26.8mm is a standard seatpost size. Have you tried one of those?

"Standard" Seatpost sizes are many and varied, I've had 26.8 (DMR I think) and currently own an old Kona with a 27.0 post probably the most annoying size ever as the tube is 0.2mm too small to fit my uppy downy post....

Do you happen to know the model and tear of your Diamondback?

Probably 26.8 but a pair of calipers shoul give you an answer.
