I use my 2016 Scale 950 on the road over the summer and want to fit as big a chainring as possible. I've been in contact with Scott and the biggest possible is 44 tooth. Picked bu an xtr race chainset, 44/30 for a bargain price. However I'm not sure if the narrower Q factor is likely to cause a problem with clearance.
Has anyone fitted an xtr race chainset to a Scale ?

Yes, I have a Scale 610, fitted an Xtr M9000 Race and it is fine, I have used both the double, and now the single with no problems.

It was a 36/26, now running 34 Absolute black oval
