I bought an old Scott Genius off ebay a while ago, someone had tried to respray it and has made a complete hash of it. After stripping the frame and removing all the bearings i had it beadblasted and powder coated. I'm now in the process of putting it back together, but not having much luck with where the washers go. I can remember how it came apart but i don't think it was put together properly after being resprayed..
Does anyone own and Scott Genius that might be able to take some pics and help me out? the year of mine is around 2006/7
I emailed scott but they didn't have anything that might help!

When taking complicated things apart I take photos at various stages, and then have them to refer back to for reassemly.
Not much use now I'll admit, but you'll be taking some pics next ime.
I think the bit about knowing how it came apart when he dismantled it, but suspects it wasn't right before may have some influence on how helpful pics could have been here... A mate has a Genius, maybe a touch older but might be able to get a look tomorrow night. Will post back if I see anything useful.
