Can't decide between a Medium or Large. I'm 6 foot with 32" inside leg - the Scott chart recomends a Large, but looks like I could also get away with a Medium.

I'm riding a Genius Mk1 currently, which has an even shorter top tube than the Mk2 Medium! Hence my quandry over sizing....

I've got an 05/06 MC40, large and same height/inside leg as you, running a 100mm stem... What size is your current Genius?

I'm 6'2" and running a large. It is a bit to small for me and had to put a longer stem on but the XL is like a farm gate. I would try them as the sizing is a bit odd compared t say a trek/specialised. I also found by putting a longer stem on the handling improved and geometry felt better.

Looks like a Large is the way to go then!

davetrave - thanks for your reply, but your's is a Mk1 Genius and sizing has changed dramatically on the Mk2!

I have an 09 Genius 20. I'm a 6' 1.5" with similar inside leg. Sizing is L and that's fine - handles like a dream.

I know, but was asking the q as you'd not said what size Mk1 you were riding!

I've got a fairly funny set-up on mine as well anyway - swapped the original Zochhis for a Reba U-Turn 80-115 that I usually run at 100 compared to the 125mm rear travel so quite quirky/unbalanced and steep with the head angle. But then I bought it and decided afterwards I wanted to use it for marathon riding so started messing around with it. Good bike though and had some fun on it but it's a bit dated now and about to be replaced by a Yeti ASR5C...

Hi there,

I have a 09 MK2 genius. I'm 184cm (6 foot & 1/2 inch) and I have a medium frame. It's plenty big and superb for handling. I tested a large but the medium is a mich better fit. Only complaint is I have to run the seat post on the limit but besides that all OK.
M.
