If you only follow one person today, how about this one?

Today I was cycling with my son on the cinder track at whitby (macride) and I came across this bike and dog parked outside the toilets at Robins hood bay.

Turns out hed spent over an hour this morning picking up liter walking over a mile and was putting it in the bins and getting some fresh water for his trip.

Phil and Ruben are cycling round the British coast together picking up litter as they go. Follow them on Instagram, Facebook and strava. Pretty inspirational.

He's carrying a lot of kit and the bike and trailor weighs a lot. We cycled to Ravenscar together and stopped at the top for a drink and something to eat whilst little D played with Ruben.

Ruben was amazing with my little boy. Such a nice dog, well behaved. Completely under control. Possibly one of the best trail dogs I've ever seen.

So I hope you follow them, I hope they inspire you to pick some litter up and if you spot them, maybe say hello.

Thanks

I picked up and binned quite a large collection of discarded dog poo bags while walking on the NY moors yesterday, I was most impressed by the one with used toilet paper sticking out - that's one very flexible and clever f'ing dog!

I have this idea for a cafe crawl. The cafe's of the compass points in Europe...by bike.
