I've not even fitted the forks yet. I thought I'd compress the forks on the carpet to get an idea on how the DPC works. Anyway mid-compression the forks 'knock' (no lateral play) just a single distinctive knock.
I shipped the forks from Germany so it'd be a PITA to send back.
What could this be? Not enough oil in lowers? Shrink wrap needed around spring?
Any experiences on this fork with this sound?
This is a joke right? ๐
Knock, on spring probably, bit of grease, or we can prep. them if you'd like a Dual flow rebound unit put in and tuned ๐
none on mine.
i would install and then see how they are...
it needs quite a bit of force to compress
it needs quite a bit of force to compress
Noted that. Alittle stiff at mo- quite abit of stichon. Loco haven't got enough money till next payday for that bit!
Oh this is the funniest thing Ive read all day.
You don't think I smiled ironically to myself?
I take it the forks are a full Susser?
If so go really niche and fit a rigid fork. Rigid fork with sprung back-end, now that's properly niche.
Where's binners.....

with your reputation?
just LOL at the whole situation, really.
This really is rather funny. Sorry Hora.
From what I have heard about them the spring does knock when compressed. Do they not have the plastic sleeve that U-Turns have?
