I'm guessing that as long as I choose a tyre that is wider than the rim I should be okay?
Is there a rule of thumb/guidance on what the minimum width should be?
For example should a 25mm tyre be okay on 23mm rim or should I ideally be looking for more leeway?
Just trying to use some bits up and create/bodge a 26" 700c commuter hybrid thing ....
