Is this doable from a safety point of view?
Just got a 2nd Wheelset (tubeless compatible) for my gravel bike for winter road and planned to go tubeless but not many good deals on officially tubeless tyres.
Looking at these

I guess it depends if you value your face or not.
Tubeless tyres have a stronger bead to stop them blowing off the rim. On an MTB the pressures are low so it's much less of a problem.
Ahhh makes sense
Cheers
Those G+ Isotech tyres are alright for grip over speed, used a pair over the winter, no idea if you would live if you ghetto tubelessed them though.

Thanks
I might just wack the gravel King 32s on and see how they go on the road. They are the slick version so shouldn't be too bad and think they are tlr
I'm running 32mm Gravelking slicks tubeless - they roll as fast as most skinny tyres, just they lose a little bit of aero at high speeds - made a lovely roaring noise coming down the Lecht at 70kph+ the other day. Non-tubeless tyres can stretch / blow-off a rim.
