Have installed a 28t cassette on my road bike to work with Rival rear mech. SRAM reckon the Rival will take a 28t but right now it doesnt like sitting on the largest sprocket. It vibrates side to side with the chain on either of the front rings.

Bike came with a 25t cassette. Is there an adjustment I need to make to the mech to get it to run on a larger sprocket or does it sound like I am right at the limit of the cage length?

sure your not confusing capacity with max ?

that's the difference between teh big and small REAR gogs PLUS the difference between the big and small fromt chainring

that will = 28
