Bought a reverb from the classifieds a couple of days back minus the remote with a view to swapping the remote from my saggy reverb, went to fit it today, swapped the remote over, gave it a bleed and went to function it, it went down and stayed down, gutted. I re bled it several times, no joy. The only way I can get the post extended is to remove the air and manually pull it up, bled again several times, added 250psi, sucks it back down again, another couple of bleeds and still the same 🙁
I've given up for now and refitted the remote to my saggy reverb, does anybody have any suggestions for sorting this that don't involve a full strip down? Don't want to return it for a refund unless I have to but I don't want to do a full strip down on something I've bought in perfect working order (I've no doubt it was but isn't now).
Cheers in advance,
Steve

I had this problem too. Try this, it worked for me after a lot of swearing. Pressurise the seatpost - it sucks the saddle down as you say. Then press and hold the trigger in while pulling the saddle up.

Cheers Mark, I ended up running out of time this afternoon after squeezing a cheeky ride in so it remains on my jobs to do list!

Did u mention in an email that if you let the air out you can extend it up?

What about doing that, bleeding it then adding air?

I'm stumped as it was 100%

I feel bad that you having hassle.

Have you a lbs could try a bleed or something?

As I said, all I done with the stealth post was put my lever on and bled the lever..

Thread update, I managed to get some reverb viagra and got it up 🙂
After loads of bleeding, air in, air out, pulling up on the post whilst pushing the button, putting a different hose and barbs on, more bleeding and still the post remained stuck down when it was pressurised with air, without pressure in the post you could still pull it up by hand but as soon as you put air in it sucked back down. As a last ditch idea I decided to discharge it of air, pull up by hand then hold the remote button in whilst pumping air back in (a true 3 handed job!) and finally it stayed up and now works as advertised. What a mare that was. Cheers to kendo954 for keeping an active interest in making sure I got it sorted. Hope this helps someone else in the future as google proved fruitless for me.
