[Closed] Recommend me a place to watch Stage 1 of theTour of Britain

Planning a family day out and fancy driving over to watch the Tour of Britain's stage one from Peebles. What are the top of the catagory 3 climbs like to get to with the car? There's a climb between Meggethead (Megget Reservoir) and Talla Linnfoots (Talla Reservoir). Or there's another climb shortly (Cat 3) shortly after at Flecket Hill on the A701.

Any recommendations?

Also, where's good for a bite to eat on a Sunday round there?
