Need a new rear hub/wheel but what to go for? King again or are there other good alternatives now?

Bling? Tune Prince, Extralite Ultradisc or maybe DT190s.

Rim choice has to be Innolite XCC250, spokes DT Aerolite or Pillar ti, should be about 600g, and about £1300.

rat is the new bling..

I can let you have my authentic manky old Sun Black Eye rim on a shot deore hub.. It's a genuine article.. poorly maintained and badly abused throughout it's life.
yours for... err.... £350?

edit... I forgot to mention.. never even been cleaned.. a true classic.

£350? Unless the carrier is badly worn that's way too much...

Presumably you are asking so that you can avoid anything regarded as current bling?

The answer therefore is King or Hope hubs in a colour that subtly ties in with the rest of the bike, then some rims that do the job. Possibly coloured rims but probably form and cost before function
