Ok,external BB type; so I have undone and removed the bolt from the drive side, what now? I am thinking nuke from space? On a Shimano I would remove the non drive and rubber mallet it through, how do I get the RF to come off?

Replace the bolt from the drive side, then using a 2mm smaller allen key (through the hole) undo the 8mm allen bolt hidden behind and it will pull the crank off.
Then mallet away.

As above. The visible 10mm bolt is the extractor. Replace this and then use an 8mm hex to turn the inner bolt which will pull off the crank. Make sure you note the position of the various washers and spacer as the cranks come off. You need to use plenty of grease on the splines during re-assembly and make sure the cranks are in line as you tighten up with the 8mm hex. Tighten all the way to a stop which may require a lot of torque. Unlike Shimano bearing pre-load is supplied via an elastomer on the non-drive side.

Any probs email me and I can send the RF instruction sheet.
