Bought a 2nd hand Flux frame a while ago which has a Pushed RP3 fitted. I have no info on when it was Pushed and settings etc.
I've only given the bike a quick spin up and down the hill near me to bed the brakes in so not had a proper ride on it yet. Firstly need to check the sag dont think it's far off but maybe air poundage could be increased a tad.
Assume there should be a difference in the 1 2 & 3 settings as per an unpushed shock? I didn't feel much difference in any of them and you can also spin the lever 360 degrees from 3 to 1 setting as well as going back via the 2 setting. Is that normal or is the shock in need or sorting?
Thanks.
It depends on the push tune. The point of the tune is to reshim the shock to the customer's desire, so may be that whoever had it done asked for it to be closely spaced... or it might be borked. Really no way to know I am afraid! TF likely did it though so you could ask them if you know the name of the person you bought it from. Spinning 360 is normal.
Ok ta. I'll try again with the proper air pressure and see if it works any better and report back.
I've asked the previous owner about the shock tune and the guy before him had it done apparently but no more info.....
