I've left it too late to order online, and would like to buy some high5 energy powder (not tropical flavour though! bleurgh!!), on my way to the Yorkshire dales. Any recommendations?

Don't mind if it's caffeinated or not.

(I don't think Halfords sell it anymore, it's not on their webpage)

Search on Halfords works for me. Just note the price displayed, as my local store was selling it for double the web price but price matched it when I told them.

It's only showing gels, bars and multipacks for me, no powders.

Is it an event? If not try water and real food? You might be surprised.

More the voice of previous experience, used to use it regularly believing it was making a real difference, but the reality for me is that for most things under 4-6hrs it makes no real odds

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I'd missed theendurancestore from my own searches (focusing on bike shops), looks good, thanks andyb39!

lesgrandpotatoe: yes it's an event. I will be eating some "real" food before, but find the effect normally wears off 3 hours in. I find it easier to spike my water with some carbs rather than peeling bananas etc. while riding. Who knows there might be an icecream van half-way round, but knowing my luck it'll have a long queue and they'll have run out of flakes.

mikewsmith: those shoulder chips sound appetizing, probably more suited as a recovery food than for fueling the ride though ๐Ÿ˜‰
