I need a new hose for my SRAM level rear brake, can I not just use any 5mm hose and the requisite SRAM barb and olive?

I imagine it should be fine. Just check the diameter, some are 6mm aren't they?

Any 5mm hose will work - I'm using Hope hose with my Guides.
