on socks, tubes, cables, and tyres. 30% off sale prices means if it gets any cheaper I don’t care. Socks £2, gear cables £2, tubes, yes £2. Vee well reviewed tyres £18.
Try not to get too excited and order the wrong tyre size, cos once you push that button, it’s down to you.
PS if anyone has a contact who can change my order I’d much appreciate it, cos post is not cheap.

I’d rather not give those bell ends any money - no matter how little.

Its like going to a pound shop and then realising everything is overpriced.

Yeah I hate spending £2 on an inner tube.
Can’t believe I fell for it.

And I got a pair of my favourite bib shorts for £20...which is as low as I’ve seen them. Thanks OP; hadn’t looked at the website for a while.

Out of interest does anyone know what happened to the original podsac company? I've got some super high quality lightweight drybags made from eVent which are absolutely fantastic as they let damp stuff breathe. Had them ages and can't remember where I got them - did the company just go downmarket or was the name bought up by px?

I think Pete O'Donovan sold it a few years back, and it went downhill very rapidly after that. They used to make exceptionally good mountaineering gear, but now it's just a brand which gets stuck on cheap chinese tat.

Never less than enterataining a trip to PlanetX.

At what point did they start flogging Finnish toiletries? Soap on a Rope?!

Just bought some of their proline 3/4 bibs to try for winter road biking. Find full length leggings a bit warm but want to cover the knees or they go a lovely shade of purple since I got old!

My other bibs are Endura Fs260 which I’m not entirely convinced on the pad, plus my other decent shorts are DHB Aerons which I like but are at least £60 for a new pair.

Really cheap with the discount - cost £31 delivered for the bibs and a long sleeve base layer.

@ogden I like the 365 proline 3/4s. Perfect for the cooler months in Pembrokeshire.

The diamond cutter appears to be the same construction as the alpkit cloud base, but rectangular in shape.

My cloud base is fine, but doesn't have any insulation in it.

Got the large long sleeved base layer and large Proline 3/4 bibs through I ordered. Around £31 for the pair delivered.

The large base layer is pretty tight - way more compression than the Large Under Armour summer base layers I’ve been using on cold mornings recently. Probably somewhere between the thickness of hot gear and cold gear UA layers. Should be ok as it gets a bit colder though on the bike.

The bibs seem ok ish - they feel cheaper than the DHB Aeron and Endura fs260 bibs I’ve got - but then they were a fraction of the price. The pad feels a lot chunkier / less flexible but will see if they soften up after use and a wash. I went for large and I think that’s about right - although where they fall below the knee they aren’t as tight on the calf as I thought they be (given I’ve got fairly big calves too).

For the money both items will do a job though I reckon.
