I can only get the code to work on Inbreds and Scandals. It doesn't work on the evo 456 frame etc?

Evo456 is not in the offer.

Given the email doesn't mention 456 evo and the uncle john, it's no small wonder they don't have the extra discount applied. The email states 'steel and aluminium' not 'all steel and aluminium' or 'all frames'...

No pleasing some eh.

Didn't get the email was simply asking a question, a simple misunderstanding of what was said earlier in the thread. Cheers for clearing it up Brant. Merry Christmas.

This is the mail

http://us1.campaign-archive2.com/?u=40fa628f0fbe316d0497b3c31&id=480cabc59b

Was recommending a scandal 29er to a mate, but it seems they're not included in this offer as the code - while it seems to be accepted - doesn't reduce the price at all

it's a *for up to 50%* discount.

Scandal 29ers are *supposed to be* £299ish

Code brings all colours/all sizes down to £149ish

Argh with the 29er scandal at that price and SID RLT forks down to 350 in the merlin Xmas sale... this could be an expensive impulse purchase. Any cheap 29er race wheels to be had...?

Sorely tempted to get 14 inch Inbred to have in stock for when my boys legs are long enough, probably a tear off. Skint though.

Anyone know if its possible to run the Scandal 29er as a belt drive due to the swap outs?

29er scandals rock. I'm also on the lookout for some reasonable wheels - I need 6 bolt QR front and back though, a lot of the 29er wheels I've seen are 15mm front which is no good. Merlin have Shimano 29er wheels at very good prices but they're centrelock 🙁

I think so far today we have sold more frames than we did in our first year of business 🙂

while you're on brant, is the listed 1820g weight for the uncle john right? sounds heavier than I would have expected having seen a few.

Is it really £30 for a pair of swap-outs to make the Scandal singlespeedy?

I'd have loved to go for a raw scandal, but that makes it £180 against the £100 for the ltd Inbred, so may have to go for the latter.

Well Brant, that's one more to add to your numbers for the day! An impulse purchase of a Scandal 29er. No idea what I'm going to do with it yet but seemed too good an offer to miss.

No, verticals only, though SS ones need a bit of a file to make them clear the chainstay.

Not perfect, but it's not terrible.

A 1.3in 700c tyre can't really be called a 29er can it 🙂

Those scandal 29er frames are amazing value. Tempted by a new one in anodised black or raw but I already have an original (27.2mm post, 1 1/8th head tube) one in BRG.

My reverb just shipped this morning. Anyone know which year they are?
