I thought the upgrade from Charger 1 to Charger 2 wasn't meant to be worth it?

They changed the threads on Pikes, new version is far more fine. Can’t remember exactly when it happened, but I’d guess from that description that these might be for old ones (maybe)

Ahhh, that saves me £90 for something I didn't even know I wanted then! Thank you.

My understanding is that all the Boost forks are the new design and all the non-boost forks are the old so the two aren't compatible. And not for any good reason that I can see tbh, just a thread change.

And thanks OP, bought! Not sure it's worth it just for an upgrade to the charger 1 (TBF all the charger dampers seem about equally bleh to me) but mine is acting up so at this price it's worth a play. Anyone know if they come ready to fit, or do they need bled?

(I don't know if everyone else got hte same offer but for me PICK8 saved another £7. And then 1% topcashback for the really stingey, ie, me)

Just popped mine in and ready to ride.

Paid a similar amount for a charger 2 damper a few months ago (can't remember where from) after I found the damper in my 2015 pikes was bent. Big upgrade on a bent damper, not sure there's much in it when not broken.

had this on my watchlist...
now bought.. wasnt the 2.1 i wanted.. but.. i figured it would be cool to try out with my acs 3 pikes to replace the charger 1 which may or may not need bleeding

Cheers ordered, I haven’t touched my original damper since the fork was new
So it’s probably due a service anyway
