Big question. Are SSC brake pads any good now? It's been years since I had some and I can't remember what they were like but the fact it's been years makes me assume I wasn't that impressed with them.

I bought a load of the kevlar ones on recommendation on here when they were on offer. Got a rear set in 2 bikes now, one sram, one shimano and they're fine. Can't tell much if any difference from oem

I've been using them for years with no problems.  The Kevlar compund is my go to pad, really like them.

How are their headsets? I'm about to replace my road bike one. Better/worse then Ritchey Comp or Cane Creek 10 series? (which are similarly priced after discount)

I've been running one with a union flag topcap on the trailbike for about 6 years without a problem. Fit (with a wipe of grease in the frame and loads around the bearings and cups) and forget. It's never even need a tighten.

Yes had an email from superstar :

'As we focus on UK manufacturing we are no longer building wheels, so it’s time for a huge hubset and spoke clearance, with up to 85% off Sapim branded spokes!'As we focus on UK manufacturing we are no longer building wheels, so it’s time for a huge hubset and spoke clearance, with up to 85% off Sapim branded spokes!'

Ah no worries. I ordered hubs and spokes last night after getting the email so thought I might have missed a trick!

Have you used the hubs before? Had a few SS wheels been OK to good, the V6 hubs I got on the clearout sale and they've been fantastic

yes indeed, I've had quite a few.  Very very happy to have got these for £80 inc. 100 spokes and nips.
