I just got a frame that has been half stripped and polished.
Looking to get it finished off professionally.
Does anyone know of a good place to get it done and whats a guide price?
Cheers

Why not buy some paint stripper? it comes clean off if you leave it on for a minute, then t cut and iron wool .

Local bead blaster and polisher.

You might want to coat it to stop corrosion.

Nitromorse works fine (green can). Just done my heckler. The polishing takes a bit longer - mine had previously been bead blasted so needed sanding with 400, 600, 800, 1000 wet and dry then medium and fine wire wool. This was followed up with chrome polish on a drill mop.

Its come up very nice but it was a lot of work (because it had been blasted), maybe 20 hours in total. You could cut that in half if its not been bead blasted in the past.

My view - strip it yourself with nitormorse and a very fine wire brush (the suede shoe brushes you can get in the supermarket are great as they are small and not very harsh) and then pay to get it polished!
