Anyone else get followed by the phantom cyclist? You know, the guy who takes your wheel, you can hear him, his tyres over the ground, his breathing and even gear changes, yet when you look around there's no-one there!!!

Yes. Once. I have no explanation for the experience...
Sometimes. I get it in similar environments and have always put it down to acoustic reflections (thrown sound). Doesn't entirely explain it, might not even explain it at all, but seems more reasonable than phantoms etc and less questioning of my sanity.
No, but I do get voices in my head telling me to kill, kill KILL!
Persistent very low frequency sonics - sometimes natural earth movements, perhaps produced by secret government agencies. It affects your mind and causes you to have supernatural experiences.
no but sometimes when riding I imagine there are real cyclists just in front of me so I hide when they look around.

my own tyre noise has been known to freak me out.. especially on a lazy Sunday morning commute
