I've no idea which is which (dark/White etc) but I tend to prefer hanging out around Ladybower/Edale/Castleton etc etc.

Recommend me a route? Circa 15miles. I was going to ride up Mam Tor, then over to Cavedale, turn right at the bottom- through pindale, up towards Beast then back again to Edale otherwise.

Rushup Edge is a snow/slush/mudfest today - which may be a good or bad thing depending on if your going up or down it

mam tor un rideable as of yesterday, through to chapel gate, all snow bound cant see it having melted from yesterday, jacobs ladder un rideble until the very last rocky descent down to penine bridleway. Was quite deep as of 2 pm yesterday, id head over to ladybower for a full ride, as the mam tor jacobs ladder routes will include of pushing!

Rushup Edge and Chapelgate were rideable today, albeit with a few stops to lift the bike over snowdrifts

Chinley Churn? No. Hang on.

Too short at 14km and no techy bits?

Do Chinley and Rowarth

Or Strines and Rowarth

Both are going to be over 20km

Hora, welcome to the world of cindertrackerella, where your bike gets transformed into a pumpkin if you're late back... Quickest cindertrackerella blasts from s Manchester are rides from roman lakes or hayfield, defo

Interesting ride. Abused on Cavedale by some walkers who *swear* its a footpath 🙄 and then I climbed upto Mam tor on the sharpest road climb known to man- all in hail and horizontal rain.

I think its Roman Lakes/Hayfield going foward and more night rides though as I was late back.

I've taken to always carrying an os map with me, if people are so sure about it being a footpath then I give them the chance to prove it... a little bit of educating the masses.

Odd you had such bad weather, its been glorious here in sheff

wierd as chuff- One front went past me down the valley chucking it down then another came over me, blue skies, then again chucking it down and etc etc. Wierd. The hail was towards the end.

I did Pooks chute though- VERY muddy until the last chuffing bend. 😐
