Some good prices on end of season stuff, anyone used them before, good/bad experiences?

You pay them the money and they send you a bike in a box, and it arrives quite quickly.

Used them twice, including a couple of weeks ago, but never had reason to take a warranty issue up or anything - so that may not be much help.

they usually get recommended on here once a week - though not seen them mentioned for a while.

There a "post a bike in a box" operation, not a bike shop - if you can live with this (little backup) for the prices they sell @ buy one.... not heard of any complaints

PJ266 is spot on, they are a bike shop.

I've known Paul for quite a few years and he's a really good guy, I'd definately recommend them to everyone!!

They do send bikes out in boxes, but they have a full PDI before they are re-boxed and sent out.

So which PDI is that? I always go for a Peripheral Decarboxylase Inhibitor on all my bikes

I stand corrected... my info was from posts on here about them.
Backup support was questioned & mention of them being a warehouse operation was quoted.... (not bad reviews, just a lack of enthusiastic support)

i bought a giant off them a year or so ago - arrived very quickly and was good. I'd recommend them, and a friend has done the same subsequently.

I bought my Reign X0 off them a year last October for £1400! Hardly old tat, but certainly cheap! Service was great, but didn't need to warranty or anything like that so cant comment on after sales service.

I bought a nicely discounted 08 Trance X0 from them last week. Turned up pretty quickly, in a box with plenty of padding/protection and the just the bars and front wheel to fit, just as you'd expect. Gears and brakes all set up ready to ride. Not much else to report as yet.

I too bought an 08 Trance X0 from them 3 weeks ago, as tim41 says, all set up, just bars and wheel to fit. Had a curt conversation with someone there (brash sounding chap) when my CC didn't go through because i had not authorised the new card by mistake, you would have thought I had walked in and stolen something by the way he spoke to me, however once sorted (5 min job) the bike arrived the next day even on standard delivery.

So in summary, great prices, quick delivery, but not sure what would happen if u had a problem / return, could be a case of 'we are a mail order business', take it to your local dealer.

Cant speak about mail order, but i shouldn't bother taking a drive there for any window shopping, unless your after something bland and cheap. they may list lots of quality bikes on there site, but they don't display any. I did buy a LTS1000 there back in the day, as they were much better then. Always got good service there though.

Would recommend them. Bought a Giant Glory last year and the cranks snapped after 11 1/2 months. Were replaced under warranty with no hestitation.

They sorted a warranty replacement on a frame that developed a crack. I had a new frame within a week of sending the old one back. Pretty sure the replacement they sent me was from stock rather than the Giant importer which is more than most lbs would do. Even headset cups had been switched over although I'd only left them in as I had a couple of spare headsets I'd bought cheap from Woolly Hat for the bearings.
