You see? Men in lycra = wrongness
Now Kelly Brook in lycra....mmm anyone got any pics?
I can't see it specifying that the 7% commented on lycra alone. It's probably the clown/scoutmaster/nonce baggy shorts that cause the problem.
We are (mostly) grown men riding bicycles. If you are trying to look attractive to the opposite sex then you're in the wrong game.
Where the hell did they find the 7%?
I agree with uplink, any woman who finds men in cycling clothing attractive must be one sick, perverted individual.
Hubbada and indeed, bubbada ๐ฎ

*puts hand up*
I find that men who I wouldn't fancy in 'normal' clothes become infinitely more attractive in their riding kit. It means we'll have something in common.
perhaps it's more about the content than the packaging ?
I prefer attractive women to be naked but will tolerate covering...
i know plenty of women who find men in lycra attractive, i think it is limited to those men with bums like half the pro tour peleton, not flabby IT managers :)]
I also know men who find men in lycra attractive, my gay flatmate in China went back to america determined to become a cyclist after i showed him picture of Chris Hoy ๐
lol, survey at Cycling Show found cyclists more attractive than other sportsmen. ๐
Personally, I find women much more attractive in regular clothes. Or in none at all 8)
Well yes, if he wants to spend hours on end staring at men's backsides in public....it's the sport for him!
There's a girl in our office who definitely likes to look at me when I wear my lycra.
Last week she was stopped at the side of the road with her car bonnet up. I stopped (on my bike) to offer her help and whilst we talked she was 'checking out' my errr groin area.
Cheered me up no end :o))
Average man on a bike wouldn't turn the head of a young woman.
Average man in an Aston Martin would, regardless of whether he was wearing lycra pants.
Have you seen Liz Hatch's Maxim shoot????

except some of us wouldn't be interested in someone so easily impressed :o)

Nice of Liz to do some publicity for Hope while she was at it ๐
My wife definitely prefers me to wear lycra rather than baggies although whether she likes other men in cycling kit - I don't think so.
She's never shown signs of perving whilst Le Tour is on.

My wife never notices Astons, Ferraris, Lambos. Any interesting (to me) car just passes by with me saying "Ooh, look at that", and her looking at the wrong car saying something like "It's only a Toyota".
I've rarely met a woman who is impressed by things like that..
On the other hand, a few years back I went to watch a local triathlon with my sister and one of her friends. The friend got very excited and demanded to know why she'd never seen one of these events before.
Mind you, the first triathletes out of the swim tend to look a little different from your average cyclist, pro or not, and tend to be wearing very little.
