The new scandals are slot dropout without replaceable gear hanger - one trailside hit and the frame's a gonna (oh and you cant use a banger hanger with a shadow rear mech)!
Any thoughts or experiences out there ??

never been an issue in the 12 years my heckler was on the road ....
Fixed hangers tend to be alot stronger than replacables
I actually prefer fixed hangers ... and there is always a fix !
