You know the one where you screw the brake fluid funnel in, are they available to buy separately?
Can't seem to find them so I'm guessing not....Previous owner over tightened so I've had to use a torx as the 2.5mm hex rounded. Not the end of the world but also noticed the O ring is missing, anyone replaced that, what size and where from?

Thanks.

There isn't an M520 lever. Which one is it?

If you mean the MT500 then the part # is Y8RM98010 and they're £1.99

I believe its BL-MT501 paired to the 4 pot 520. From a quick look the mt500 seems to be paired to a 2 pot caliper.

The MT500 and MT501 use the same bleed screw and o-ring

Sorry for the confusion, yes it's the 4 pot 520 calipers, whatever the lever is with those.
Thanks for the part #

Shimano’s spare parts supply strikes again.

Someone on here probably has loads of dead sets of Shimano brakes and can give/sell you the bit you want.

Try your LBS, it's the sort of thing they may carry for their workshop, but not bother advertising (I've actually got a load in a drawer in our workshop, but unfortunately, i'm off with covid at the moment so can't do anything for you).

This is why I strongly believe in upcycling,( probably not the correct term but you catch my drift ) for every person throwing something away there's someone who needs that part off it. Always strip broken components down for spares rather than bin the whole lot when you can, I've saved my mates a few headaches and bailed them out many times.

Message me to remind me, but I think I’ve got a knackered lever somewhere.. I’ll have a look tomorrow to see if the bleed nut is there or if I’ve used it myself!

Yeah, or you can buy one from a bearing/seal company for 25p post £1.99 shipping or 50 for £5 and £1.99 shipping if you can find 49 mates with shimano brakes;)

@ coatesy @ Martyn

I'll message you thanks, whenever you can post one it would be much appreciated thanks.

@dove, yeah I've emailed them to notify me when in stock.

@steve, I was thinking this but knowing me and my measuring I would end up with loads of wrong sized o rings 😉

Cheers.
