So lately i have seen a number of off the peg bikes with a nobby nic on the front and a racing ralph on the back. What's the benefit of this?
Why not just stick 2 nobby's or 2 ralph's on?
Sorry when it comes to tyre's i just ain't got a clue.
front and rear tyres do different things
yeah i know that but i meant the tyre choice? does the nic not have more grip? therefore better suited to the back?
I guess the argument will be that the RR rolls better (more weight on rear) and more grip is needed to steer.
rear wheel slips, "whoa did you see that!"
front wheel slips "ooof, where's me teeth!"
Front grip please ๐
ah see i was thinking more grip as in forward movement no steering aid. makes more sense now.
Still why not stic a nic on the back too? what benefit is there to a ralph on the back?
im just trying to work out why the bike im looking at has a ralph on the back and if i should swap it straight away for a nic.
