I would please like advise

I am from Poland and have first mountain biking in UK, very nice

I rode Glentress with my friend Dominica

I have some questions:

I ride Glentress Black, very much nice trail but I had many problems, I have many crashes. My bike is Marin Nail Trail, and I think this is good bike but I suffer from over the handlebars many times. My friend Dominica had the same crashes many times. Please help

Also, we ride past the place with many jumps, some drivers on bikes were shouting at Dominica, she doesn't know what they meant, but they were friendly, I think they shouted that she has a face like painters radio, is this a way to describe she looked feared, because we were both scared riding over jumps
