Anyone heard of these? If so anyone got any info (website or personal) as just had the last off without knee pads! Need then for tech XC - already ruptured my PCL 3 years ago and havn't got much normal skin left on my knee caps!

I just didn't want to say that I fell off doing easy stuff - got to think of my image ๐Ÿ˜‰ LOL (Technical XC) rather than DH or Freeriding etc - I need something that would be very comfy on lon XC rides? Those 661's look kinda nice and comfy!

I think you are thinking of the 661 d3o pads, reviews don't seem to rate them as highly as the Kyle Strait knee pads though.

Good review here:

Yup they are the ones - I think they might fir the bill over Kyle Straits as they are more flexible - don't really need them for puncture resistance more for bruse/flesh protection. Cheers Guys ๐Ÿ˜‰ On next months credit card it is then ๐Ÿ˜‰

What about comfy flexible knee pads with shin protection too?

Hmm - yeh the d30 pads seems a little variable on the personal review - and they are pretty expensive - think maybe the KS's are the way to go!

Kyle Straits are great, I never really used pads for 'normal' riding before but got these and kind of always wear them now. Ok for all day rides, don't really notice I have them on to be honest.

May be a little hot in the summer, but what isn't!?

Hi Andy - yeh they do sound nice and comfy and anything will be hot in the summer I guess - full knee and shins are very warm I have to say ๐Ÿ˜‰
