Hey guys i got a new frame for a build and put it into my LBS to have a headset fitted (ragley Bagger frame) it takes a 44m headset which my Lbs are/were going to fit, but when they went to do this the bottom cup just slipped in by hand and comes out just as easy, has anyone had any similar problems? and should i try a different headset? By the way i ordered a hope headset.
I would guess it is far more likely an issue with the ragley than with the hope headset
Measure them with some calipers - get the shop to see what happens with another headset - does that just slip in?
Was gonna try another headset, they recommend the nukeproof but there doesn't seem to be many 44m tapered ones around. i'll give him a call and ask if he can measure it, i'm going to call Hotlines 2mo also and see what they say, just put this on here incase someone had similar expieriance.
