I've had a remote-version of it, branded XLC. When it worked it was excellent, if a little heavy. The problem was that the actuating mechanism was very sensitive to setup and dirt, which usually meant that by the end of a ride it would only extend about 3/4s of its travel. A quick strip and clean would get it working again, but this was every ride and I got tired in the end and bought a Gravity Dropper. I still have the XLC and think I may have worked out a simple fix, but haven't had a chance to test.
