That's the way i'm swaying TBH.

Would like to be able to use both for different occassions but the drive train problem is there.

The stone camo design ties the titanium colour of the fork in better.

If you rock the camo wheels i hope you can ride very well, personally i would drop the red cable outers and cranks and go with the other wheels, looks to bling for me. im considering a Blur or Heckler myself, but it will be much more tastefull 🙄

The Mavics are an option mate, and CK hubs are bomb prof for sure.

I had a look at something similar and really liked them.

If you do go the ck way buy the hubs at the same time, as the anodising changes - I bought one pewter hub from here and it was almost dark grey and another hub from Aspire and it was almost purple. Great hubs though.

Enduros the others take the limelight away from the bike - a little too much.

Thanks for the advice Ash, nice bike also mate. I nearly went down the La P route but budget wise could only afford the 514 and the white paint was a bit last year IMHO. Seriously dunno what to do with these wheels now man... Sell both and go Mavic SLR or supa bling with some Crank Bro Iodine's! LOL

Login to Flickr and open the "All Sizes" page of your photo. Choose the photo size you want (Small, med, large) and at the very bottom, there's a single line link.

Copy the link and insert it here between IMG tags.

Whatever wheels you go for, chose some that are a tad less harsh..

That is a very 'busy' bike

Tomahawk - I uploaded the pics to photobucket then when you've created your albums there are links on the left hand side click on the img link that will automatically copy it to your clipboard all you have to do then is paste it into your reply.

Thanks for the comments Luckily I got the 316 cheap and so far I've spent just short of 1K on her, she rides like a dream though - worth every penny. Only trouble now is I need a bike to run on the road and to commute on. So I've got an old GT arrowhead frame I've swapped old parts from the spicy onto and am now running it as a ss. Hope you make the right decision for you -

Thanks all.

Yup... i do apreciate the 'constructive' critisism. I do like busy tho.

Interesting that you mention the SS i am considering a a similar project. What size ring do run up front?

Nice one Ash.

Just got back from Dalby... only got there about 5 so had top smash it round and in the end it was dark before i finished! I didn't want to stop tho, i was loving the new bike too much! It is a proper weapon that thing, and i kept on saying just one more section.... had to bail in the end the ST was too sketchy with no lights. Yup, forgot em!

Easy mate.

Couldn't live with the red cables in the end! 😕

Went with some silver braided Jagwire that matched the Hope braided brake lines.

Much better now i reckon....

Tomahawk - that's a VAST improvement. Still a bit too much red for my liking (esp. the cranks), but I reckon it's much better now that you've tidied it up some. For some reason those camo wheels made me think of an Action Man toy my brother had when we were younger!

Then again, I wouldn't really worry too much about what other people think. It's your bike, so just do whatever you like! Either way, I'm sure it will be pretty special to ride...

Yes it does wonders for the confidence... having said that, i came off it for the first time tonight! Had to happen at some point the way i have been riding lately. 😉

If you ain't falling off you ain't trying hard enough!

Easy.

They are tasty. The hubs are very artistic. Big thumbs up from Tommo!

See what they are like for durability and let me know!!! The Enduro's are bomb proof and great for vibration damping bcause of the kevlar spokes.

Whats the warrenty stuff like for those american classics?

As opposed to the venerable hope proII / pro III on 355s?
