I shall be there - just been sizing up fireworks in tesco to see what will fit in my back pack.

I think instead of buying a firework to fit in my backpack i might do it the other way round and find some means of accommodating the firework...

Tesco? You seek answers in the wrong places....

Those shops that appear, as if by magic, in dubious locations, in previously empty units, selling goods of indeterminate origins, with instructions in something definitely not English

My problem with those shops Binners (and god knows i have used a lot of them) is that the boxes dont have prices on them. I have no idea if the box is worth £10 or £100 when i give them my 50 quid.

There is a shop near us that sells fireworks all year round and they let you watch a video of the firework to help you choose.

For the purposes of next Monday, a £5 shell will suffice nicely!

I'll be there. In a strange twist of fate I've been excused from Relentless on account of one of my cats going blind 😕

The weather forecast is for fog tonight

Pros : If we ride up the hill above it the view will be stunning.
Cons : We could get lost and eaten by wolves.

I’m going to keep an eye on the weather. It should be OK, but I’m not going to do a 50+ mile round trip in zero visibility.

…and 20 minutes later the forecast is for a clear moonlit night.

I was up there yesterday for a walk with the family and it was stunning. Also, about 20m from the carpark there is quite a big “zip line” which could be fun in the dark wearing helmet mounted lights 😀

I'll be there, +2 from Tod by the looks of it. I know where I'm going on the way up, got lost last time on the way back down. What could possibly go wrong? 🙂

I'll be there and I think Gaz is still out so we shouldn't get lost. Lets start on the other side through the woods this time.

I'm gonna have to decline this evenings adventure. Similar to Binners, having rear wheel issues also, it came off again at the weekend. Happy riding Gents Gavin

I might just get a last minute firework delivery from a housemate.

The plan is to all attach them to our bikes, right? Is anyone bringing a gopro?

Setting off now. Proper peas-souper here. Hopefully it will clear as I head north.

Great ride fellas. This is the first ride I've been on that had Gaz, Daz and Baz. I only got a few images, but spectacular fireworks courtesy of Baz:

Hmmm

I'm sure I can make out the top of Sydney harbour bridge at the bottom of that second pic.....

Or is it the Isle of Man?

😆

You'd be surprised what's visible from Pendle Hill.
