What's to get? It's a bike frame.
....and yes you probably are too old in general.
i got it for a month
a comfier steel 29r is better to get has you get on in life....... 😉
sh*t posted the pic in the wrong place opps.
lol dalesboyz..you posted that on purpose didnt you !
are the Ragley frames specifically a local thing round here (singletrack area) cos they arent half coming out the woodwork alot lately ! be interested to know where abouts in the country they are selling too
i didnt and yes it is a inbred thing around hebdenbridge. (if you get it?)
Not that local to Hebden. Of 11 of us on the TBC Wednesday ride last week, 3 were on mmmbops and another two have one at home.
Here's mine..

Elaine anne, surely its just the fact that we are 'tight' northeners??
I know 3 peeps that have bought them cheap from CRC as replacement for steel On Ones. Another mate would have bought on as well but he's too tall to get a cheapy.
So now must be a good time to pick up steel frame?
Love these frames i built one up for my girlfriend. I took it out riding last week because my bike was in bits. I normally rock a 20" and the ragley is a 16", but still thoroughly enjoyed my ride (although probably looked a bit daft!)
Mmmbop is the new Inbred.
zangolin that is the best one i have seen
I was quite tempted by that deal on CRC but given I've already got a BFe I couldn't really justify it.
the name 'Rodwell'- springs to mind too- (Rodwell End) (another Hebden name) ! i wonder if there are to be frames /parts coming out in that name too.
id like a Ragley, unfortunatly, they dont make tiny frames for 5ft tiny people !
id like a Ragley, unfortunatly, they dont make tiny frames for 5ft tiny people !
14in sizes (and a 17in too) from Jan 1st.
Brant, is that in the Blue Pig as well as the Piglet?
a 14 inch Ragley ? really ???? nah... come on now be honest....few months back you said they were only availbale from 16 inch.....
but then i guess more and more people happen to be interested now...hmmm be inspired ...buy a Ragley
now then a 'hmmmBop' or a Blue Pig...any more names coming out the woodwork....
The mmmBop is being discontinued, so if you want one you'd better be sharp. I guess that they weren't actually that successful - too niche (or not niche enough)?
i love mine pity the same cannot be said for my joplin! its broken again 🙁
wtf are you doing to it Rob?
god knows. It must be me as its the same . today on the ride it was slow to come back up to the top and needed a helping hand to return to the top. I Was going to add some air like teh 2pure man told me to last time but when i undid the screw oil was bubbling form the valve. So i thought thats it - leaky valve so i swapped the core and fine. Pumped it up and all was good. Put in frame, all good, pushed it down, it shot back up as it should and then hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiss, no air now in the post!

New Piglet looks nice, quite fancy one of those.
Shouldn't it be 'downtube' instead of 'downtime' in the catalogue blurb though?
Happy to accept a 14 inch sample in exchange for proof reading duties. 🙂
Any sizing/geometry details yet?
Brant, is that in the Blue Pig as well as the Piglet?
All our models. Pig, Pig X, Bagger 288, Troof, Piglet.
sooooo im guessing the 'piglet' comes in size 14 inch then,- (otherwise any bigger ..it wouldnt be a piglet )
😉
why are the mmmbop's going to be discontinued then ? any particular reason ?
mmmbop discontinued because of the Troof - a new 160mm alloy model.
http://www.ragleybikes.com/2010/09/ragley-2011-catalogue/
brant is that the only colour they are doin the troof in and it looks like somthing out of the 70's and when can you get them?
The Troof does feel sometimes like I'm trying to make something look as odd as possible 🙂 Another colour will be available.
is that one in blazing saddles in hb?
Ere, Brant, do you have a weight yet for a medium Pig X? Loving my Mmmbop but there's a little part of my brain that's missing the Soul's steel...
I'd like to know a bit about the 'Troof' aswell. Is it an 'allday' bike with the right build or has this been designed as more of a play/trail centre type ride, maybe its the look, it just looks like you had a specific idea in mind with it looking so different to the mmmbop. Also whats the minimum fork length recommended, still happy with my 140mm and dont feel i need more, but like the look of this...
brant have you got a pic of the Troof built up?
i havent seen a piglet yet built up !!! any pics of those 😉
is that a piglet ? so it has 120mm forks then...
just had alook at the website... i like the Carnigie carbon riser bars too !
Brant : what frames are going to be in size 14 inch then..
ea:: All frames in 14in size.
What length will the effective top tubes be on the piglet & blue pig?
just a suggestion but shouldnt the 'piglet' be aimed at the smaller size person ? or is it only me in the entire universe thats only 5ft ?
😉
I'm still liking that Blue Mmmmbop.
Are you still sitting on that second Troof colour Brant?? Spill the beans...
I'm really liking the idea of the piglet, looks great too, do we know when they'll be available?
Thinking about an mmmbop but I'm running 120mm forks. Plus I'm 6'3 so thinking I'm probably a little tall to fit comfortably on an 18" frame, now the 20" isn't available.
Any thoughts Brant?
