Selling some gear and wondering which wheelset to keep.
Will eventually end up on a utility bike .

Shame they're not 717 on Pro 2s. I'd keep the Hope hubbed wheels and rebuild them when the rims eventually wonk out.
I prefer adaptability and cartridge bearings over cup n cone.
I have had all of those in different combinations.
I found the DT rims dented really easily. 717s go on forever and I have had ones die only because the brake surface wore through. Not so easy to run tubeless though.
I now have Stans 355 on XT and Hope Hoops Po 2 with Stans Flow rims.
The hopes are probably worth more and tbh the XT hubs should last a long time.
On my main bike I would keep the Hopes and rebuild when needed but if you plan to use the money to fund something else then maybe keep the XTs with 717s.
My gut reaction was keep the hopes though.
