Was contemplating riding London to Paris next year to tie in with the final day of the TdF.

Anyone have any routes they would care to share?

Will be a road route. Thinking over three days.

I've just done this ride as part of the Scope "London to Paris 24" ride. the route we did is below:
England - http://www.outdoorsgps.com/route/show/327034_scope-l2p24-uk-route-2014-final

France - http://www.outdoorsgps.com/route/show/327031_scope-l2p24-france-stage-2014-final

Hope that helps.

Good route, didn't get lost. And used some of the accommodation listed on the site and it was spot on.

I did it a few weeks ago. Ping me an email and I'll reply with the GPX routes for you.

We did it in two days via the Portsmount - Le Havre ferry.

Its a good route as you get a nice ride in the UK, can sleep on the ferry to save one overnight stay (its a full 9 hour ferry trip rather than the 3-4hr from Newhaven) and the french route is fairly plesant, there is even 30 miles of avenue verte (fully paved, traffic free cycle route).

A potential downside is day two being 135 miles but if you've got 3 days then you can split that in half.

I can post links to the route maps if you are interested.
