Been wondering how easy it is to work out what trail you're looking at from a simple map of the trail. And of course Strava makes it easy. I've started off with a fairly easy one, and hopefully some of you can come up with more.
Bear in mind that the whole point of the game is to get something that IS easily recognised. Trail Centres are obviously easiest, but there must be some other iconic rides out there that others will recognise.

I think I've scrubbed off the obvious feature (A road number) but let's see...
Bruise

What route/ride/segment is that?

Well. At first glance I'd say it was definitely north American. They like their grid street systems.

West forty second street, then down park ave to east thirty fourth then back up sixth avenue. Pretty much a perfect square.

(It is tedious trying to post images on this site, isn't it)

I though it would be a thread about this sort of segment shapes...

Hmph. Need a clue. Is it TC or natural. Is the stem down the bottom part of the trail or just to get there?

Well known natural route. The 'stem' is the to/from a common start/finish point.

Ladybower loop out of Hope. Done that one so many times that it's imprinted in my brain.

I assume Claire's an ER nurse and has been mostly dating guys who've come in after industrial machinery accidents?
