Gripy takes the inter sprints leading Sags by Unos Pointos, Cav freewheeled to the line.

Small bunch, same fellas, out front with just under 4mins lead.. all as it was about an hour and a half ago then.

Bit warm so the feed says, they're tipping bottles on their heads every few miles.. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
Bet the tarmacs a bit sticky too.. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Not lucky for Peraud by the looks of it.

Ouch ! Peraud is in shreds. Bollocks hanging out of his bibs. Must have lost a kg of skin. Tough as nails, just made it back to the bunch.

Made it back to the bunch... carrying a load of bottles for his team mates!

Hope they're not as sticky as the one he got from the team car ๐Ÿ™‚

just had a short with Adam Hansen shoeing his custom shoes he makes,

his cleat almost looked mid foot

He uses different cleat positions depending on the stage, but yes generally towards mid foot

Is that Svein Tuft on the front? Must mean Mathews is up for it. Could be a good finale with Sagan and Degenkolb.

Haas popped off and has 10sec on the downhill into flat at 1.44, Orica on the front, Gripy dropped, Sagan smiling, Tinkoff pulling hard to make sure Gripy doesn't get back on.

Fingers crossed for Haas then ๐Ÿ˜€

the break seemed to start messing around at the worst possible moment. They've got a pace on now though. Too late surely?

I hadn't given it a thought until now but there are a lot of teams/ riders wearing yellow jerseys and yellow helmets this Tour

Will Lotto Soudal pull on the front for Greipel or sit up and home De Gendt makes it?

What's this I see, GT sat in front of Froome again? Well, there is a surprise.

What do we reckon to Sagan coming in second again? ๐Ÿ˜†

This will be very tight, 10 seconds in it with under 1km to go.

How on earth did Sagan not win that! Nice work by GVA though.

Sad to quote myself but so predictable. Massive finish from GVA

My prediction of no stages for Sagan is slowly coming true...

Annnnnd, Sagan finishes second, would you believe it?!?! It kind of looks like he pulled up before the line, very odd. Good sprint by van Avermaet though, really good.

Didn't realise how much I wanted him to win until that finish.

Real shouting at the tv stuff.

Obviously didn't shout loud enough though.

But please for GVA. I watched him being shafted by Cancellara at the Tour of Flanders last year with Cancellara playing him completely at the finish. Nice to see him forget to be polite and hold the door open.

I know he's another perennial second place finisher, but I've never really warmed to him.

Me neither. I have never met him and know very little about him but he seems to be one of those people that has really bought in to their own "superstar" status. As a bike racer too he is fantastically talented and ridiculously strong but 9 times out of 10 isn't the brightest

La peau en moins, le sourire en plus. Quelle inspiration nous donne @jice_peraud. #modernhero

I wonder how aero the bandaging is ๐Ÿ˜€

Crazy what some of these riders will put themselves through! It was such a stupid, awkward crash and those are always the ones that hurt the most

We have Wi-Fi at home again ๐Ÿ˜€ still no phone data, work is going to be tough!!

I said a few days ago that Sagan is the new GVA (terminal podiumererer) it was nice to see GVA officially hand over to Sagan at the finish line!

Peraud = nails. Assume he swapped his bibs?!

Having taken a little skin off one knee & calf on a small off last Wednesday, I can't imagine the pain that lot must have cost him in the shower ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
And then to race 180k in 32deg heat the next day is beyond comprehension.
