I'm looking to replace my shimarno SLX chain with a kmc x10 ti/gold chain any
One used one on a mountain bike? , all reviews seem to be road bike but most places list chain
For both uses ? Any advice would be great .
I've had two X9's, they are really good. Very quiet and smooth shifting.
All my race bikes have KMCx10sl golds and there ace would highly recommend them Merlin cycles seem to be the cheapest
I got one of the X10-SL ones from Merlin recently. It's OE, as it's no packaging, but it's only a chain.
I don't really take any notice of chains - it does what it's meant to, thats good enough for me.
Just put on one my 29er last week, Couple of rides and it seems great. Spot on shifts and nice and quiet.
