After a few nice rides out on my new alpine 160 in the fine (dry!) trails I've thought the beefy high roller on the back was a bit heavy going on some of the fire roads and pedally parts of the rides. People seem to be making a fuss about this new tire, saying it's quite fast rolling etc
Just wondered if anyone had it fitted to their bikes and what their thoughts were??
Thinking of pairing it with the standard minion on the front!

Got a pair and my 29er HT, I found them tricky to keep in a straight line in the really deep sloppy mud, might of been down to being new and tyre pressure being too high. Now the trails are drier and they've worn in a big im feeling more confident with them, lower pressures seem to help get the most out of tri shaped tread, jury still out.
