Well I just got back from my weekly Tuesday night ride. I would probley have been better off in a canoe than on a bike, or given the amount of wind out there tonight a Windsurf board would have been more fun!!!
There is usually about 8 of us that meet every Tuesday, but tonight for some reason they all cried off, bar Dave the ride leader so we did the ride that was planned. It was wet in places and very blowey along the sea cliffs, but we managed 26 miles, so I am not complaining.
Anyone else brave the hurricane tonight all in the name of fun?

Got my ride in this morning, about an hr later the rain came, then the wind picked up.
I never got these chances before the credit crunch....
I was soaked through to the skin. There wasnt one dry piece of clothing on me. I had to strip off at the front door!!!

the ride(no sign of the forecasted snow though).
was going to , went out to meet point(exeter) , no one turned up, and it stopped raining as well
Just got back from a 16 mile ride above Hebden Brdige where the wind seemed to change direction to make sure it was always a headwind!!
Didn't see anybody else out riding. Just me and Nick.

Luckily i got 37 miles in yesterday after work as i knew what was coming for the rest of the week. Just went for a short run tonight instead.
