having spent the Sleepless in the saddle solo on my Scandal 29 I decided to sell the Spesh Sworks Epic and invest the money in upgrading it to make it a thoroughbred.

So new wheels, JRA built Stans Arch on ZTR hubs.
X9 throughout.
Middleburn rs8 duo.

10.5kg

Loose the on-one saddle.

Loose the cane creek big rubbery far too heavy bar ends.

Loose the middleburn cranks, they only look nice with skinny framed bikes.

Apply black tape to the Superstar logo to preserve your dignity.

Other than that, nice for a 29'er.

Kingtut,

I'll give you the headset and Superstar logo
Headset suggestions?

The middleburn cranks are some of the lightest you can get.
The bar ends are are the most comfortable I've found.

And I like the on-one saddle, but I might change it anyway.

Like it a lot, someone with more seat post showing than me. You could lose quite a bit of weight getting lighter seat post and saddle but I guess you already know that. Think the crank looks good too. Brake levers sticking way out
