[#12915145]

I've heard someone say there was a site that listed stack and reach of road bikes, I know what I want ish but I cant find a list , just each bike individually, ive been on geometrygeeks and bike insights but that means I've to search each bike so I'll probably miss loads of possible fits as I don't know them to look for, cheers

I think geometrygeeks will do that but you have to pay. See here:

this is a great site and you can add in bars etc and search:

https://www.bike-stats.de/en/

search here - limited to 50 results for free users:

BIkeinsights.com is the best I know of for coverage of models etc. when stack/reach is your prime concern. Can do what you want but then its not too hard to compare a bunch with the average, and if you can figure it out the search function does have promise...

Far from an expert on road bike sizing, but wouldn't seated position be the relevant measurement for road bikes rather than reach?

+1 to honourablegeorge; is there a specific reason you're looking for stack/reach for a road bike, as they're not really metrics that are nearly as relevant for a fit. (The answer may be yes, but it's not clear!)

Stack and reach are the only two "fixed" dimensions for a bike fit.

The rest i can muck around with by using a hex key/new parts.

You also know your required setback (if you're going to do a proper fit) and approximately the right length of bars/stem. Ditto for the height of the bars (measured from the fixed point, bottom bracket) and the maximum number of spacers for the fork.

So the ETT isn't actually that useful, unless you know where the bottom bracket is, which needs a seat tube angle and length... so we're back to stack and reach. Which tells you all you need to know about the fit (but not much about handling etc).

Cheers all, as said above stack and reach are the main numbers I'm interested in for a bike fit
